Brianna said tonight that she really wants to be known as a famous saint.  It wasn’t St. Therese of Lisieux only who had a little way; I just read this quote from St. Josemaria Escriva over at Dawn Eden’s blog:

“”The world admires only spectacular sacrifice, because it does not realize the value of sacrifice that is hidden and silent.”

May I not desire anything but unity with God, sainthood.  Help me to sacrifice silently and remain hidden and silent.   Help me to be patient and kind even with those with whom I live.
