On the Road, On the Right Track

I am on the road to Mt. Tahoma High School for the state track meet staying with my sweet parents along the way.  Visited with my sister yesterday while supervising the children as they ran around the damp grass, moss and bark.  We talked about this article from Dawn Eden about feminism.

My sis also mentioned an interest in some of the Great Books schools like Thomas Aquianas in Santa Paula, and that I ran across this article on this type of school.

  1. One grain of sand at a time makes a mountain in time?

One grain of sand at a time makes a mountain in time, but O the patience it takes! One sneeze, one ill wind, one grain of sand to many and poof all that hard work is destroyed. Do I start over? Do I give it one more try? Yes, ’cause that’s the brave and right thing to do. But may-be the right and brave thing to do is not the wise and best thing to do. May-be the wise and best thing to do is to join the mountain Builder and let Him use our humble, little grains of sand to build His mountain – Thus , Little Sand, Big Mountain!

  2. Enjoyed your visit and all the excitement the cousins have together with each other. No matter how long it’s been, we never lose the connection we have. What a blessing it is to share thoughts and interests with each other…
